The site is well-located in walking distance to a local primary school, shops and community facilities. It is also close to bus stops on Bawtry Road, offering regular bus services to Sheffield city centre and Rotherham town centre.
Up to 116 new homes. These will be a range of homes for first-time-buyers, growing families, downsizers, and older people.
The development will provide a variety of two, three and four bedroom properties, with private gardens and off-street parking. The site layout has been designed to minimise impacts on existing residential properties on Bawtry Road.
Homes will be well-insulated and built to the latest environmental standards. A number of homes will also offer electric vehicle chargers and solar panels.
Existing landscaping will be supplemented with new planting across the site. Existing trees will be retained wherever possible, and new trees planted. Significant open green space is provided for the community to enjoy.
We would seek to achieve a biodiversity net gain through the development. This would enhance biodiversity habitats on the site.
Redevelopment of a disused brownfield site, which is currently subject to antisocial behaviour.
